By accessing and using myEssayTrainer, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this service.

2. Description of Service

myEssayTrainer is an AI-powered educational platform that helps students grades 6-12 improve their writing skills through:

• AI-powered essay analysis and feedback across 6 skill dimensions
• AI-generated and curated essay topic suggestions by grade level and interest
• Essay revision history with draft-by-draft score comparisons
• Progress tracking and skill analytics
• Parent dashboard for monitoring student progress and managing billing
• Subscription management (Basic, Pro, Premium, and Free Forever plans)

3. User Accounts

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old or have parental consent
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit content that is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service to plagiarize or cheat on assignments
• Share your account with others

5. Academic Integrity

myEssayTrainer is designed to help students learn and improve their writing skills. Our AI provides feedback and suggestions to guide learning, not to complete assignments for students. Users are responsible for using the service ethically and in accordance with their school's academic integrity policies.

6. Subscription and Payment

Our service offers the following subscription options:

• 30-day free trial — full Pro-level access, no credit card required at registration
• Free Forever plan — automatically applied when a trial ends without a paid subscription (1 student, 5 essay limit)
• Basic, Pro, and Premium plans — monthly and annual billing options available
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel or change your plan at any time via the Billing page in your parent dashboard
• Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion

Billing is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store payment card information on our servers.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By using our service, you grant us a license to:

• Process your content to provide AI feedback
• Store your content securely
• Use anonymized data to improve our services

8. Limitation of Liability

myEssayTrainer is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service.
